The building of the former Church of the Epiphany, Queen Street (see an earlier post) takes a prominent place on the south side of Queen Street in Parkdale. This sketch, from the diocesan archives, shows a tower on the north-east corner that was never built.
Below is a photograph of the interior from its days as an Anglican parish. The relative starkness (no candles, frontals, hangings etc.) shows the low Church tradition of this parish. It also confirms that the altar still in use in that space by Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church (see pictures in the earlier post about the Church of the Epiphany) is the same altar.
