My Interest in the Church of St Mary the Virgin dates back to the 30’s when my parents were grocers on Dovercourt Rd.
All 6 of us Children attended Kent Public School on Dufferin St and we walked past the church every day.
3 of us had our pictures taken on the front steps.Years later ,my work as a Public Health Nurse caused me to go to a meeting there. The church hosted an organization that served refugees.
